• Are your hotel rates per person or per room?
• Hotel rates are per room based on a maximum occupancy of two.

• My credit card details necessary when making a reservation?
• Yes, to guarantee the reservation

• Will my credit card be charged?
• We may block an amount on the credit card, equivalent to 1 night's room charge to guarantee payment but this block will be automatically released in two weeks if not redeemed. Furthermore, we do not charge without proper authorisation from the guest. However, select packages may require full-prepayment at the time of booking but this will be made known at the time of making the reservation. Guests can choose to settle the bill in cash or credit card at the time of check-out.

• How safe are credit card details that are submitted online?
• Our hotel uses SSL secure encryption to ensure that all your personal information and credit card details are kept confidential. The security of information is very important for us.
  For added security, guests are requested to present the credit card used in the online booking/purchase of accommodation together with personal identification (ID card or passport) upon check-in.
  Should you not wish to submit your credit card information online, we are pleased to accept reservations via fax or phone. However, credit card information will still be required to guarantee the reservation.

• What is your cancellation policy?
• If a cancellation is made less than 1 day or 24 hours prior to arrival, you are charged for one night's accommodation.

• Do you have pets' policy?
• Regrettably, pets are not allowed.

• What are you check-in and check-out times?
• Check-in time is 2:00 pm.
  Check-out time is 12:00 noon.

• Is it possible to check-in earlier?
• Early check-in is subject to room availability.

• What is the charge for late check-out?
• Late check-out is subject to room availability and the charges are as follows:
  Check out before 6.00 pm: 50% charge (based on overnight rate)
  Check out after 6.00 pm: Full overnight rate

• Do you have non-smoking rooms?
• Yes, we have non-smoking rooms. Please state your preference at the time of booking.

• Do you have twin, triple and quadruple rooms?
• All rooms at Windsor Suites are fitted with king or twin sized beds. However, an additional bed can be added by way of an extra bed. The cost for this is THB 1000 with breakfast for one..

• Do you have inter-connecting rooms?
• Yes, there are inter-connecting rooms. Please advise us at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

• Does the hotel provide extra beds?
• Yes, the hotel does provide extra beds at a cost of THB 1000 per night inclusive of breakfast for one.

• What is the hotel's policy regarding children?
• Children are welcome and those under the age of 12 can share the existing bedding in parent's room at no extra charge.

• Does the hotel provide baby-sitting services?
• Yes, the hotel does provide this service. For one child the rate is 250 bht per hour & for two children or more it is 300 bht per hour. *Please note after 11.00pm the hotel will charge an extra 100 baht for the sitter's taxi fare. All payment is to be made directly with the baby-sitter

• Are baby cots available?
• Yes, baby cots are available at no extra cost.

• Where is the breakfast served and at what time?
• Breakfast is served at the Windsor Suites Cafe which is located on the ground floor, from 6.00 am to 10.30am. Cost of breakfast is THB 420++ for adult and THB 210++ for child (height must be less than 115cm)

• How many restaurants do you have and what are they?
• The hotel has 3 restaurants, Windsor Suites Café, The Golden Palace & Youzen Restaurant (currently closed for renovations). It also has a lounge, Atrium Lounge & a bakery shop, Windsor Shop & a Poolside Bar.

• Is vegetarian food available in the restaurant?
• Yes, there are vegetarian dishes to choose from.

• Is the food served in the restaurant halal?
• Strictly speaking, the food served is not 'halal', however, we have dishes available that are pork free.

• Do you have 24 hour room service?
• Yes, the hotel does provide 24-hour room service.

General Hotel Information

• Do you have hairdryers in the rooms?
• Portable hairdryers are provided in all bathrooms.

• Does the hotel provide iron and ironing boards in all rooms?
• No it does not, but there are limited irons and ironing boards that are available upon request.

• How far is the hotel from the airport and do you provide airport transfers? And if so, what is the cost?
• The hotel is a 35-45-minutes drive from Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Airport transfers are provided upon request at THB 1,200 nett per way for a car and THB 1,600 nett per way for a van.

• How much is an airport taxi or limousine?
• An airport taxi is approximately THB 400-500 nett per way including toll charges. An airport limousine is approximately THB 1,500 nett per way.

• Can luggage be store at the property whilst I travel elsewhere?
• Yes, for a maximum of 30 days.

• What is the weather like at the different times of the year?
• Bangkok being a tropical city, weather is warm throughout the year with April and May being especially hot and sticky. June to September are cooler months (24-28c), however, it is the rainy season. The most pleasant time of year is October to February, where temperatures range from 25-28c with light breezes and only the occasional shower.

• Is the tap water safe to drink?
• No, tap water in Thailand is not potable. Complimentary bottled water is supplied to your rooms daily.

• Is there a doctor on call?
• Yes, for minor illnesses, otherwise, for urgent matters we recommend guests go to Samitivej Hospital which is just 15 minutes away

• How far is the nearest hospital?
• Samitivej Hospital is a 15 minute drive from the hotel.

• Where is the nearest bank or currency exchange?
• The nearest ATM is just next to the hotel, it's the Siam Commercial ATM machine. The Krung Thai Bank and it is approximately 50 meters down the road.

• What time do banks open?
• 8.30 am - 3.30 pm, Monday to Friday

• What is the voltage is used in Thailand?
• The voltage in Thailand is 220 volts.

Business traveller

• Can I connect my laptop in the room?
• Yes, via wireless and high-speed broadband Internet connections.

• What kind of internet connection do you provide and what is the cost?
• Hi-speed Internet 5Mbps (shared speed). For guests who make a booking directly online at www.windsorsuiteshotel.com or rsvn@windsorsuiteshotel.com, internet connection is complimentary. For other non-hotel guests the cost is 300 baht per day or 150 baht per hour.

• What is the hourly/daily rate for limousine service?
• Limousine service rates are as follows:
  Hour Hourly rate of THB 700 (minimum of 2 hours)

• Are secretarial and other business services such as translation available?
• Secretarial services such as faxing and photocopying are available upon request. Translation services will need to be sought elsewhere, however our Front Desk will be more than happy to assist.

Shopping and Tourist Facilities

• How far is the hotel from the Skytrain and MRT?
• The hotel is 100 meters from both Asoke & Phrom Phong BTS Skytrain Station and two stops from Sukhumvit MRT Subway Station.

• Are there shopping centres nearby?
• Within walking distance is the mainstream Emporium Shopping Centre store or Robinson Shopping Centre.

• How far is the hotel from well-known entertainment spots?
• Emporium Shopping Mall, is a lifestyle center and offers much by way of entertainment. Alternatives are the clubs (Narcissus Nightclub and Bed Supperclub are favourites), Manchester United Restaurant & Bar, pubs and eateries located on Sukhumvit Soi11

• Does the hotel a shuttle service to any of the tourist spots?
• Windsor Suites offers Free Shuttle Service to Emporium Shopping Centre & Phrom Phong skytrain Station. The timings are as follows:- 11am, 1pm, 3pm & 5pm

• Do you have a tour desk?
• Yes, there is a tour desk, where we can assist you with any arrangements you may wish to make. Opening Hours are from 7.00am to 9.00 pm

• What and where are local tourist attractions?
• Tourist attractions are plentiful; please contact the hotel's tour desk for more information.
